How can I play a local co-op game with 2 phones at once in the same computer, each controlling a separate player? When I try we both control the same player even though we have different layouts and we are different players.

bro I tried and it's working for both online and offline
just go in the top left corner
chose to add controller
add 2 controllers and thing should go positive from there

@George#181 as SCORpus said YOU CAN add up to 3 more controllers in the OPTIONS, just FORCE them to be PLayer 2, player 3, player 4, on each other device you want that joins your game. Monect ROCKS!

1 Open the layout tab on the smart device
2 Click the setup icon on the top left corner
3 Add or remove the corresponding controller as you wish
4 Choose player id globally
