stops responding after 10 seconds every time (since an update few months ago)

I'm able to connect to any of my pc's from my phone but all the buttons and mouse stop responding after around 10 seconds of being connected although it shows that it is still connected (happens on all devices). This happens without fail on every use. I haven't had this issue until I updated it months ago. The only way I get it working again is to disconnect and reconnect it every 10 seconds. I've tried reinstalling the app on the phone as well as on all computers.

Does anyone know a proper fix for this?

Yup! Actually more like a "workaround" than a solution. It seems like the problem is with the password functionality.

To fix it, just open the receiver (on your desktop), go to settings and select "conditional connection" and then "alert me when a new device wants to connect". That's it. Fixed it for me.

You won't have a password anymore to connect to your PC, but a window will appear asking for your permission to any smartphone that tries to connect.
